The new series of Copper Creeps focuses its attention on the world of “High Strangeness”. Searching in the shadows and out of the way places of the Earth for entities that defy explanation. Reinterpreted in robotic renditions, season Two brings together some of the most mysterious creatures ever witnessed by human beings. Some have a long history with multiple sightings. Some had a single appearance, but all created long lasting impressions.
Wave One welcomes two, possibly alien beings to the Copper Creeps family:
The Flatwoods Monster, also known as the Green Monster or Braxie was sighted in September 1952 in the Flatwoods area of Braxton county West Virginia. Its glowing red eyes and iconic hood looming out of a cloud of pungent mist, immediately secured it a place in the collective psyche of the world. And it has gone on to become one of the most recognisable oddities across the globe. Was it a being, a craft or just an Owl? We may never know…..
Two unlucky fishermen on a nighttime jaunt were accosted by our second new entity in Pascagoula Mississippi in 1973. After seeing lights in the sky these wrinkly apparitions dragged them away to be subjected to traumatising procedures. Were these odd faceless “robots” the minions of another intelligence or some other inter-dimensional miscreants? Whatever the case, nothing as surreal looking has ever been encountered again.
The Flatwoods Monster stands a slender 5” (127mm) tall.
The Pascagoula Entity squats at a chunky 3” (80mm).
Presented in a polished resin finish resembling Pewter.
