The Flatwoods Monster, also known as the Green Monster or Braxie was sighted in September 1952 in the Flatwoods area of Braxton county West Virginia. Its glowing red eyes and iconic hood looming out of a cloud of pungent mist, immediately secured it a place in the collective psyche of the world. And it has gone on to become one of the most recognisable oddities across the globe. Was it a being, a craft or just an Owl? We may never know…..
